Rightmove Plus Design System

Overview

In 2024, I proactively launched the Rightmove Plus design system to address inconsistencies in our our customer facing product, and provide clear frameworks for designers. Built on top of the centralised Rightmove system, it focuses on SaaS specific patterns, reusable layouts, guidelines, and a dark theme. The system has now been adopted by all product teams, and every new product or feature follows its standards to ensure consistency across the platform.

Outcome

Adoption of reusable patterns and layouts has reduced design time per feature by around 26%, while adherence to guidelines has significantly improved visual and interaction consistency across Rightmove Plus.
